Automatic Flushing Toilets

My company has those automatic flush toilets.  Which company doesn’t have them nowadays, right?  The purpose of them is to conserve water, right?

Then why is that I feel that we are wasting more water than the normal toilets?  I’m not sure about you, but it seems as if everytime I use it, the toilet flushes on its own even when I am not done.  By the time I am ready to flush, the toilet has already flushed itself 3 times.  How does that conserve water?    Can anyone tell me?   Even the slightest movements causes the toilet to flush.
