Two babies are born on the same day in the same year. They also share the same mother and father but they are not twins.
How can this be true?

The babies were adopted.
That’s a great answer, but it wasn’t what I was thinking. The answer to this teaser assumes that the mother and father are the biological parents.
They were carried by two different surrogate mothers.
Wow, this is hard!!!
Two surrogate mothers would do it, or even one surrogate mother and the bio mom carried the other, but then, wouldn’t the kids still be twins?
I don’t know, can you email me off line??? hahaha
because they were born at different times that day
